Two years ago, I attended the Content Marketing Conference in Boston. I’d been creating content for my current company for a while and wanted to learn more about what’s new in the world of content creation. It was all I’d hoped to experience and more, putting me on the hunt for similar events. What follows are three conferences I think are worth attending in 2020.

When it came to the 2019 Content Marketing Conference, not only did I feel like a VIP—since I’d scored an All Access pass—but I learned to make all of my content more exciting, unique and engaging. I also learned a lot about things like:

• Email Optimization
• Landing Page Optimization
• Advanced Social Media tactics
• Writing a successful digital/Kindle book
• Becoming a contributor to large magazine brands

Over three days’ time, the event really allowed me to dive into different topics. It allowed me to bring several new ideas back with me to my employer, too, and set a few aside for use in my side hustle. This year, a One Day pass is $949. I recommend aiming for All Access, instead, immersing yourself in workshops, master classes and the entire conference experience.

While in Boston last year, many other CMC attendees I met also raved about the Content Marketing World event held in Cleveland. They described it as a “must-attend” conference and expo that pulls out all the stops. CMW offers even more workshops and master classes than other events do and provides breakout sessions for both beginners and us advanced marketers.

If you’re local to the Atlanta market (like I am) or you’re looking to attend an entry-level conference, learn what’s new and trending in digital content at Digital Summit Atlanta. Guest speakers are part of the three-day, immersive experience. Topics to be covered include:

Its 2020 speaker lineup includes reps from Amazon, “Fast Company,” Instagram, Twitter, Walmart, etc. Depending on which events and classes you’re interested in, package pricing starts at $275—with the ability to bundle in a full day of master classes for $200.

One of the key things to know is that each of these conferences offers their own unique experience. By attending all three, you can gain a whole host of new content tactics and strategy ideas.
